  • Eric Welter was most recently the SVP, Marketing for Collette Travel Services, Inc. Collette is a global escorted travel company serving the 50+ market under 4 brands: Collette Vacations, Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventures, Explorations and Collette Family Vacations. Eric was responsible for global marketing strategies in US, UK and Canada.

    Eric started at Collette Vacations as an independent contractor responsible for strategizing and planning of Collette’s Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business marketing, online and offline marketing, PR, multi-media & digital marketing, and launched the company's first multi-channel, multi-brand marketing database with integrated scoring algorithms for consumers and travel agents.

  • Served as Chief Marketing Officer for PetsUnited, LLC. PetsUnited is one of the largest e-retailers of equine and pet products in the county. Eric was responsible for online marketing strategies and operations of 12 sites including horse.com, dog.com, fish.com, bird.com, ferret.com, etc. that included SEO, PPC, Social Networking, Videos, Email, Analytics and creation of a sophisticated online and offline CRM system.

  • Served as Chief Marketing Officer for Tweeter Home Entertainment. Tweeter was one of the largest national consumer electronics retailers of home entertainment systems and installation services with 300+ stores. Eric was responsible for driving retail store and online traffic using TV, Radio, Print and digital marketing.

  • Served as SVP of Global Marketing & Sales / Call Center / IT for Viking River Cruises, Inc. Viking River Cruises is the largest River Cruise travel companies in the world serving US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, and Australia. Eric was responsible for driving profitability via Lifetime Value and ROI metrics across all channels, reorganizing the call center to be conversion driven and implementing global, redundant IT network and CRM system.

  • Eric also served as SVP of Marketing Services at J.Jil a multichannel Retailer of woman's apparel and accessories, VP of Marketing at Geerling's & Wade a multi-channel marketer of wine and wine accessories, Director of Circulation at Grand Circle Travel a 50+ travel direct marketer of travel and started his marketing career at Fingerhut, Inc. as a senior statistician.

  • Eric is a graduate of St. Cloud State University of Minnesota with a BS in Statistics and Mathematics.
